About the Company

Role and Responsibilities
- Lead the internal audit operations across company manufacturing plants, warehouses, and the corporate office.
- Develop and implement effective internal financial controls, standard operating procedures, and governance structures.
- Conduct thorough process audits spanning procurement, production, inventory, sales, dispatch, finance, and commercial areas.
- Identify operational and financial risks and suggest preventive or corrective measures.
- Ensure audit findings are followed up and action points are resolved timely.
- Drive compliance with internal policies, statutory requirements, and management directives.
- Perform periodic assessments of inventory control, wastage, stock reconciliation, and cost leakages.
- Enhance fraud prevention systems and risk mitigation strategies.
- Develop and maintain enterprise risk management processes.
- Ensure compliance with GST, Income Tax, TDS, and other direct and indirect tax laws.
- Liaise with statutory auditors, internal auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies.
- Maintain documentation and records related to compliance and governance.
- Manage all accounting operations including general ledger, monthly closures, and financial reporting.
- Oversee the preparation and finalization of accurate financial statements.
- Supervise receivables, payables, reconciliations, and working capital management.
- Monitor manufacturing costs, product costing, inventory valuations, and margin analyses.
- Ensure accounting treatments comply with relevant accounting standards and company policies.
- Review cash flow planning and enhance fund utilization.
- Manage timely filing of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory returns, including handling assessments and queries.
- Coordinate tax audits and maintain compliance readiness.
- Oversee banking operations including fund management, bank reconciliations, and maintaining banking relationships.
- Manage working capital limits, credit facilities, term loans, and banking documentation.
- Support treasury and cash flow monitoring activities.
- Ensure timely payment to vendors and collection from customers.
- Coordinate with the Company Secretary on board resolutions, regulatory filings, and corporate compliance.
- Maintain statutory records and assist in legal and compliance documentation.
- Assist management regarding agreements, licensing, and regulatory matters.
- Support financial planning by assisting in budgeting, forecasting, and business planning processes.
- Prepare Management Information System (MIS) reports, dashboards, and variance analyses for review.
- Analyze profitability, product margins, and operational efficiencies to provide insights for strategic decision-making.
- Track key performance indicators and support business performance evaluations.
Candidate Profile
- Chartered Accountant qualification is preferred.
- 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in finance and accounts, ideally within FMCG, food manufacturing, or manufacturing sectors.
- Strong expertise in internal audits, risk management, and financial controls.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles specific to manufacturing, including inventory controls and costing.
- Knowledgeable in GST, Income Tax, and other statutory compliances.
- Experience working with ERP systems and producing MIS reports.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities.
