About the role
Ark Engineering & Solutions is hiring a senior field sales professional to drive business with homeowners, apartment builders, architects, and interior designers. The position focuses on field-based customer engagement, technical product consultation, site measurement, quotation preparation, and follow-up through to order closure.
Key responsibilities
- Visit prospective customers such as individual house owners, and small, medium, and large apartment builders to explain product features, benefits, pricing, and related details.
- Reach out to architects and interior designers, presenting the product range and available customization choices.
- Develop a strong understanding of the technical aspects of the products and recommend the most suitable door solution based on the client’s requirements and challenges.
- Visit sites to take precise measurements needed for estimation.
- Create quotations aligned to customer needs and share them with clients, then continue follow-up until the deal is closed.
- Track sales performance and work consistently toward monthly and yearly targets.
Candidate profile
The ideal candidate should already have experience selling construction or building-material products to builders and architects. A resilient sales mindset is important, along with the ability to handle rejection and work toward conversion. Prior exposure to architects is a strong advantage, and experience in selling doors or windows is especially valuable.
Additional requirements
Applicants must have strong verbal and written communication abilities in Telugu, English, and Hindi. The role also requires the ability to persuade and negotiate effectively. Since the job involves visiting customer sites, the candidate must own a bike for commute.
Compensation
The role offers a monthly salary in the range of INR 30,000 to INR 70,000.
