Role Overview
This role supports Lidl's commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience across all locations in Ireland and Northern Ireland. The Facilities Department manages the upkeep and administration of Lidl's properties and assets, ensuring optimal environments are maintained for both operational teams and customers, all while complying with health and safety regulations and managing property maintenance costs efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all strategic facility management projects from concept through delivery.
- Provide leadership, support, and development for team members under your supervision.
- Conduct audits of current and prospective service providers, overseeing external contractors to ensure compliance with relevant health, safety, and legal standards.
- Identify and implement continuous improvements across facility operations.
- Analyze daily operations to optimize efficiency and discover cost-saving opportunities.
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively cross-functionally to fulfill company objectives.
- Strong proficiency in Google Workspace tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills paired with strong interpersonal abilities.
- Self-driven, capable of working independently or as part of a team.
- Proven leadership experience, including guiding, supporting, and mentoring staff.
- Exceptional organizational skills with acute attention to detail, including documentation and analytical capabilities.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Possession of a valid full driving license.
