Job description

Company Overview

ProjecTTech is an engineering and consulting company focused on modern energy systems and infrastructure. It supports clients with integrated services across the full life of a project and business cycle, starting from concept and design and extending through construction, commissioning, operations, and maintenance. Its multidisciplinary teams serve customers internationally, covering EPCC delivery as well as ongoing support for operating plants. The company also highlights its responsiveness to both clients and employees through support teams located in Aix-en-Provence and Manosque, France.

Role Summary

This full-time, on-site position in Doha, Qatar is centered on technical leadership for pumping stations and hydraulic infrastructure. The selected professional will steer the design, review, and improvement of pumping stations and associated hydraulic systems, making sure all work aligns with technical requirements, safety expectations, and project specifications.

Key Accountabilities

The role involves producing and checking hydraulic calculations, directing detailed engineering work, and examining drawings and technical submissions. The expert will work with cross-functional teams, contractors, and clients to address technical concerns and to support procurement, construction, commissioning, and testing activities. In addition, the position contributes to project scheduling, risk evaluation, and the ongoing refinement of engineering methods and practices.

Technical and Professional Requirements

Applicants should bring deep expertise in hydraulic engineering, especially in the design and analysis of pumping stations, pipelines, and related water infrastructure. Experience managing EPCC work for large hydraulic or energy-related projects is important, along with the ability to develop and assess calculations, specifications, drawings, and testing documents. Familiarity with project planning, cost estimation, and control tools is expected, and knowledge of Primavera or similar software is considered an advantage. A strong grasp of international standards, construction codes, and contract structures such as FIDIC is also needed. The role requires the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and work effectively with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders in an on-site setting.

Skills and Communication

The right candidate should demonstrate strong analytical thinking, sound judgment, and effective problem-solving abilities, with a consistent focus on safety, quality, and reliability. Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken, are essential, while additional languages would be beneficial.

Education and Experience

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Hydraulic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or another relevant discipline is required. Candidates should also have substantial professional experience with pumping stations and hydraulic infrastructure, ideally gained in the energy or utilities sector and across international projects.
