Overview
SBS Transit Ltd, a leader in ground passenger transportation based in Singapore, is seeking a dedicated Senior Executive to contribute to the design, execution, and enhancement of talent management, succession planning, leadership development, and career growth initiatives. This role focuses on cultivating a robust leadership pipeline and equipping the workforce with future-ready skills through effective talent development strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and continuously improve talent management and succession planning frameworks to enhance organizational leadership capacity.
- Coordinate the annual talent review and succession planning processes across the company.
- Manage talent development activities, such as leadership programs, structured job rotations, coaching, and mentoring.
- Maintain up-to-date talent data and track development progress and outcomes.
- Act as the primary contact for scholars during their employment bond period, guiding their job placements, rotations, and career goals.
- Design and execute development pathways and frameworks for early career talent and scholars, including mentoring and learning opportunities.
- Maintain comprehensive talent profiles for early career individuals, documenting development, strengths, aspirations, leadership potential, and progression milestones.
- Monitor talent engagement and progression, providing insights to support talent reviews, succession planning, and workforce discussions.
- Collaborate with business leaders, mentors, and stakeholders to establish Individual Development Plans (IDPs) and facilitate developmental experiences and career conversations.
- Support the creation and deployment of career development frameworks, pathways, and planning initiatives.
- Communicate career development opportunities and resources effectively to employees.
- Partner with HR Business Partners and business leaders to identify developmental needs and suggest appropriate talent interventions.
- Review and improve talent management policies, frameworks, and processes to align with best practices.
- Research emerging trends in talent management and leadership development to recommend enhancements.
Candidate Profile
- Possess a university degree in any discipline; qualifications in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or Psychology are advantageous.
- Have 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in Talent Management, Learning & Development, or Organisational Development.
- Experience in supporting talent reviews, succession planning, leadership, or career development is beneficial.
- Demonstrate strong project management and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
- Exhibit good analytical skills to interpret data and produce actionable insights.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and SuccessFactors.
- Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities within a dynamic environment.
- Resourceful and independently driven, with initiative-taking ability.
