About the Role
The Senior Executive Revenue Analyst for Attractions is integral to the Revenue Management team, tasked with producing accurate reports, creating and updating dashboards, and assessing the effectiveness of various promotional campaigns related to attraction products. This position is ideal for professionals early in their careers, with an interest in revenue management, pricing strategies, and data analytics. The role involves close collaboration with the Senior Manager of Revenue Management to track demand trends, support ongoing reporting, and enhance the use of data to guide commercial decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in pricing and yield analysis through thorough data preparation and summarizing performance outcomes.
- Track promotional activities and pricing adjustments, identifying significant impacts to the business.
- Provide on-demand data support to facilitate business reviews and strategic decision-making.
- Work cross-functionally to collect and verify relevant data inputs.
- Produce weekly and monthly reports covering attendance, revenue, and other vital KPIs.
- Analyze sales of tickets, observe demand fluctuations, and review capacity usage across products.
- Ensure that all reports are accurate, consistent, and delivered punctually.
- Detect trends and variances in data to generate actionable insights for stakeholders.
- Design and maintain dashboards that monitor revenue generation and pricing efficiency.
- Create data visualizations illustrating booking trends, demand shifts, and sales metrics.
- Refine dashboards continuously based on business needs and stakeholder feedback.
- Automate recurring reports to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications and Skills
- A bachelor’s degree in business, economics, statistics, data analytics, or a related field is required.
- Preferably possess around three years of experience in roles involving analytics, reporting, or commercial responsibilities.
- Experience within the tourism or attractions sector is highly advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is necessary.
- Familiarity with Tableau or Power BI is expected.
- Basic knowledge of SQL is a plus.
