Job description
Role Overview
This opening is for a Senior Executive in Human Resources within the Global Human Resources business unit at Sun Pharma, based in Paonta Sahib, Himachal Pradesh. The role is centered on plant-level HR operations, employee relations, performance processes, learning and development, manpower planning, and support across compliance and dispute management functions.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end performance management cycle for the plant.
- Plan and run employee engagement activities, including creating and executing engagement action plans.
- Support organization development initiatives.
- Design, coordinate, and implement reward and recognition programs.
- Handle learning and development activities focused on leadership and behavioural training.
- Prepare plant manpower plans and assist with HR budgeting.
- Drive manpower planning for DF manufacturing and support recruitment for vacancies and sanctioned roles.
- Address grievances raised on the shop floor and work toward timely resolution.
- Counsel employees with absenteeism issues and begin disciplinary action for repeat cases when required.
- Represent management in proceedings under applicable labour laws.
- Support performance management for operators and technicians.
- Work with contractors to resolve contract labour union issues and disputes.
- Coordinate with company lawyers for court matters and liaise with government authorities as needed.
Requirements
- MBA qualification is required.
- 10 to 12 years of relevant experience is expected.
- Prior exposure to plant HR, employee relations, labour law matters, grievance handling, and manpower planning will be important for this role.
