Role overview

The Marketing business unit at Sun Pharma is hiring a Digital Marketing Manager based in Mumbai. This role focuses on building and running digital-first marketing programs across APAC markets, with an emphasis on growth, brand visibility, and measurable business impact.

What you will do

  • Plan and deliver integrated marketing campaigns with a strong digital layer for APAC markets.
  • Shape and run full-funnel programs covering awareness, consideration, conversion, and retention.
  • Manage always-on social media activity as well as time-bound campaign bursts.
  • Support demand generation initiatives through digital channels.

Creative and content work

  • Partner with creative and social agencies to develop digital videos, influencer assets, scripts, and static or banner creatives.
  • Contribute ideas for campaign themes, storytelling, and content direction.
  • Help ensure that content performs effectively across different platforms and markets.
  • Experience with performance-driven or e-commerce-oriented creative formats will be an added advantage.

Influencer marketing

  • Work with regional influencer marketing agencies to execute campaigns.
  • Provide strategic inputs on influencer selection, messaging, and content guidance.
  • Measure and review the impact of influencer-led activities.

Search, content, and discoverability

  • Improve brand discoverability through SEO, GEO, and search visibility initiatives.
  • Use content marketing to strengthen organic reach.
  • Track search behavior, keywords, and content effectiveness.

Analytics and reporting

  • Monitor campaign outcomes and sales performance metrics.
  • Perform ROI analysis and turn findings into practical recommendations.
  • Create dashboards and support decisions with data-backed insights.

AI-led marketing and innovation

  • Use AI tools for campaign planning, content creation, and optimization.
  • Explore new AI-led methods to improve efficiency and campaign results.
  • Apply generative AI for scalable copy, creative, and video production.
  • Evaluate new AI capabilities and help shape pilot initiatives for the business.

Collaboration

  • Coordinate closely with brand teams, regional stakeholders, and agency partners.
  • Manage creative, media, and influencer agencies to deliver campaign objectives.

Location and notes

This position is based in Mumbai. Travel may be required, although no specific estimate has been provided.

Education and experience

An MBA or PGDM in Marketing, or a closely related discipline, is required. The role calls for 7 to 10 years of digital marketing experience, with a background that includes both agency-side and brand-side work preferred.
