Role overview
This position is for an experienced HR Operations professional based in Gurgaon, with more than 5 years of relevant experience. The role centers on managing the employee lifecycle, working with HR data, improving process quality, and using technology, automation, and AI to make operations more efficient and employee-friendly.
Key responsibilities
- Handle the complete HR lifecycle, from onboarding and employee record management to employment changes and separations.
- Compile and verify payroll inputs while ensuring accuracy, timely completion, and alignment with company policy.
- Coordinate both internal and external audit activities, with strong focus on documentation, data integrity, and process compliance.
- Use advanced MS Office capabilities, particularly Excel, including macros, for reporting, automation, and dashboard creation.
- Work with SQL for extracting, checking, and analyzing data.
- Translate HR data into insights that support business and people decisions.
- Spot opportunities to improve employee experience through better processes and digital solutions.
- Adopt AI-based tools and automation to simplify HR operations and raise efficiency.
- Maintain a service-oriented, people-first approach while building processes that are structured, scalable, and system driven.
- Partner with teams across functions to ensure smooth HR service delivery.
Required profile
- At least 5 years of experience in HR Operations, with solid exposure to employee lifecycle management and payroll.
- Strong command of MS Office tools, especially Excel, including macros, automation, and reporting work.
- Practical familiarity with SQL and data analytics.
- Experience in audit coordination and compliance handling.
- Exposure to AI tools and automation initiatives is preferred.
- Strong ability to analyze issues, solve problems, and manage stakeholders.
- Excellent attention to detail and comfort working with large datasets.
Preferred experience
- Background in HR analytics, HRMS platforms, or digital HR transformation programs.
- Prior involvement in process improvement or automation projects.
