Role Overview
The Oatly Department of Mind Control (ODMC) is seeking a Senior Event Producer to join our Experiential Team in North America. This role demands a blend of creativity and operational expertise to convert event concepts into tangible experiences. Your main responsibilities will focus on the physical assembly, logistics, and production management for trade shows, sampling events, and brand activations.
Responsibilities
- Lead the complete event strategy ensuring alignment with brand and creative objectives.
- Manage expansive budgets, negotiate with vendors, and oversee precise inventory control.
- Act as the primary liaison for agencies and exhibitor partners, updating them on progress and execution milestones.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to uncover new opportunities where the brand can showcase purposeful, distinctive activations.
- Develop and monitor both short-term and long-term plans for each project.
- Oversee the visual and functional integrity of event builds, ensuring consistency with the planned design.
- Recruit, hire, and train on-site support staff such as Brand Ambassadors or Mixologists as necessary.
- Manage logistical arrangements and on-site execution for additional experiential segments like mobile tours, pop-ups, and headquarters support.
- Work closely with event management teams, troubleshooting challenges promptly.
- Control individual project budgets in coordination with management to meet financial targets.
- Serve as a unifying contact for multiple project contributors, ensuring teamwork and communication.
- Analyze project performance to identify improvement opportunities.
- Travel frequently within the U.S. (approximately 50 days annually, including weekends) to oversee event setups, operations, and breakdowns.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in event production within trade industries or related roles with strong event logistics and build expertise.
- Skilled at sourcing cultural partners and vendors to produce unique, can’t-miss events.
- Comfortable transitioning fluidly between office planning and on-site event execution.
- Knowledgeable in print production, including managing orders for marketing materials, signage, merchandise, and event assets.
- Familiarity with tools like Monday.com, Bynder, and Google Suite is advantageous.
- Experience with consumer packaged goods (CPG) industries, understanding how activations fit into broader business initiatives.

Additional Information
This role requires residency in New York City or the NYC metropolitan area due to business demands. The position involves domestic travel approximately 50 days per year, often including weekends when events primarily occur.

Compensation is influenced by factors such as geographic location, experience, education, and skill set with a base salary estimate around $125,000. Additional forms of compensation like bonuses, commissions, or equity may apply.
