About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and ambitious Senior Enterprise Account Executive to join our team. This individual thrives on identifying and pursuing new business opportunities that foster growth for both SBS and its prospective clients. The role centers on developing and executing sales strategies within the financial services sector across the U.K. and Ireland.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the entire new business development process, from identifying prospects to lead generation, negotiation, and closing contracts with new clients.
- Utilize a proprietary sales methodology to build strong, value-driven relationships with senior executives of potential clients, positioning SBS's transformative products and services.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of new business opportunities, consistently exceeding quarterly and annual revenue goals in partnership with General Managers and Product Owners.
- Provide accurate monthly sales forecasts and deliver on revenue commitments, collaborating with teams such as Professional Services and Consulting.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams like Pre-Sales to tailor solutions that meet unique client needs and guarantee exceptional product delivery.
- Lead deal and bid teams to prepare client proposals, including responses to RFx processes.
- Take charge of contract negotiations, coordinating with internal departments such as legal and finance as well as external stakeholders.
- Act as a brand ambassador for SBS, promoting products and company values.
Qualifications and Experience
- High integrity, strong business sense, ambition, and a client-centric mindset.
- Proven background in account management within the financial services sector, particularly retail banking.
- Experienced in navigating complex sales cycles and converting opportunities into new business even under challenging conditions.
- Capable of prospecting and managing executive-level relationships throughout the sales process by building rapport and delivering persuasive business cases with significant ROI.
- Passionate about leveraging technology to solve business challenges.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present confidently to large groups of senior stakeholders.
- Skilled collaborator with the ability to build cross-functional teams to achieve collective outcomes.
- Demonstrated success in managing complex sales processes and contract negotiations, ideally with digital transformation experience and knowledge of solutions for retail financial services.
