Senior Education Counsellor / Academic Counsellor

Overview

We are seeking experienced Senior Education Counsellors / Academic Counsellors to join our team at Oasis Technology and Consulting Services located in Anna Nagar, Chennai. This role requires individuals with 2 to 8 years of experience in education counselling, academic counselling, training institute sales, EdTech, or admission counselling, with a proven ability to generate admissions and revenue.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise potential students on various career programs and guide them through the admissions process.
• Manage both inbound and outbound student enquiries efficiently.
• Drive admissions by conducting cold calls, follow-ups, and communication via WhatsApp and email.
• Convert prospective leads into confirmed admissions, meeting or exceeding monthly revenue goals.
• Establish and nurture strong connections with students and their parents.
• Lead and supervise a team of counsellors, tracking their day-to-day activities and performance.
• Generate and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly sales and performance reports.
• Collaborate with marketing and placement departments to enhance lead conversion rates.

Required Skills and Experience

• Fluency in English and Tamil with excellent communication and persuasive skills.
• Demonstrated ability in sales, negotiation, and handling objections effectively.
• Experience adept at cold calling, nurturing leads, and converting admissions.
• Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams and driving performance.
• Strong focus on achieving targets and business objectives.
• Familiarity with CRM tools, Microsoft Excel, and basic computer applications.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive fixed monthly salary ranging from 15,000 to 35,000 INR based on experience and performance.
