Role Overview
ZenToes is hiring a Senior eCommerce Manager, Marketplaces to oversee the daily performance of its marketplace business, with Amazon as the main growth channel. This person will own marketplace results across Amazon, Walmart Marketplace, and future channels by driving revenue growth, improving operations, and finding ways to enhance the customer experience.
The role reports to the VP of Marketing and works closely with Operations, Finance, Product Development, Creative, and outside agency partners. It also includes daily leadership of two marketplace contractors and oversight of the company’s external Customer Experience team.
The ideal candidate is proactive, accountable, and comfortable building better systems in a fast-moving environment.
Key Responsibilities
You will manage marketplace performance, lead Amazon optimization efforts, support operations and advertising, and guide product launches while improving processes and team execution.
Marketplace Management
- Oversee day-to-day performance across Amazon, Walmart Marketplace, and future sales channels.
- Create growth plans that lift revenue, profit, and operational efficiency.
- Track marketplace trends, competitor activity, and platform changes to uncover new opportunities.
- Prepare performance updates and strategic recommendations for company leadership.
Amazon Performance
- Manage Amazon Seller Central, catalog quality, listings, merchandising, and content optimization.
- Build keyword strategies using Amazon Brand Analytics, Search Query Performance, and Helium 10.
- Work with Creative to strengthen PDPs, A+ Content, the Brand Store, and conversion rates.
- Use Amazon tools and programs such as Vine, Deals, Coupons, Subscribe & Save, and Virtual Bundles.
Operations and Advertising
- Coordinate with Operations on inventory planning, demand forecasting, and account health.
- Address catalog, compliance, Buy Box, and other operational issues.
- Partner with internal marketing teams and external agencies to improve marketplace advertising.
- Monitor performance metrics such as revenue, TACoS, ROAS, conversion rate, organic rank, and inventory health.
Product Launches and Team Leadership
- Lead marketplace execution for new product launches.
- Align content, inventory, merchandising, advertising, and review-generation efforts.
- Provide day-to-day guidance to two marketplace contractors and oversee the external Customer Experience team.
- Develop scalable SOPs and processes that improve efficiency as the business expands.
What We Are Looking For
- At least 5 years of experience managing Amazon Seller Central businesses.
- Clear track record of growing marketplace revenue.
- Strong knowledge of Amazon SEO, catalog management, merchandising, and advertising.
- Hands-on experience with Amazon Brand Analytics, Search Query Performance, Helium 10, and Excel or Google Sheets.
- Experience working with agencies and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication abilities.
- Comfort using AI tools to improve productivity and workflows.
- Self-directed mindset with strong ownership and comfort in a fast-paced setting.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with Walmart Marketplace or TikTok Shop.
- Experience launching new products on Amazon.
- Experience with Amazon Brand Registry.
- Background in CPG or consumer products.
- Startup experience.

Physical Demands and Working Environment
This is a remote role and requires the ability to work from home. The position involves long periods of sitting and/or standing and frequent computer use for typing and other tasks. It also requires regular communication with teammates and outside contacts through email, messaging tools, video calls, and similar software. Some travel may be needed for marketing opportunities, events, or team meetings.
