Position Overview
We seek a Senior Director to lead our Talent & Creator Marketing division, managing a growing team and a portfolio of complex, high-profile campaigns. This leadership role requires hands-on involvement in both team management and campaign execution, from the initial concept and pitching stages through talent negotiation, briefing, and final delivery. The ideal candidate will bring client trust, sharp judgment, and the ability to manage multiple fast-paced projects with precision.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a focused influencer marketing team by assigning tasks, reviewing deliverables, mentoring on skill development, and ensuring adherence to deadlines.
- Facilitate team members’ professional growth via consistent feedback, mentorship, and setting clear performance standards.
- Design and enhance workflows, processes, and tools to improve operational efficiency as workload scales.
- Drive influencer and talent marketing strategies for new business pitches and ongoing client proposals, transforming complex briefs into clear, differentiated campaigns with measurable goals.
- Create persuasive sales materials, case studies, and capability presentations to secure and sustain business relationships.
- Collaborate closely with account, creative, and social teams to realize integrated campaign concepts.
- Oversee critical campaigns from initiation to completion, managing talent negotiations, contracts, briefing, content approval, and delivery.
- Act as the primary day-to-day liaison for high-priority or complex accounts to ensure flawless execution.
- Manage all contract-related matters, including terms, usage rights, exclusivity, and compliance with FTC regulations.
- Lead or supervise rapid-turnaround projects, making timely decisions on talent selection, scope, and execution while maintaining quality standards.
- Review and approve campaign reports ensuring they are accurate, insightful, and client-ready.
- Maintain direct connections with talent, agents, and creator networks, leveraging these relationships to benefit campaigns.
- Foster trusted relationships with senior clients by proactively presenting ideas, managing escalations, and confidently showcasing work.
- Navigate complex client organizations, stakeholder dynamics, and approval workflows effectively.
- Manage multiple accounts and projects concurrently without compromising quality or deadlines.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 8 years in talent and influencer/creator marketing with at least 2 to 3 years in leadership roles managing teams and campaigns.
- Preferred experience working with brand, entertainment, or sports sectors; agency experience is strongly desired.
- Proven skills in strategy development and presentation that successfully win business.
- Extensive knowledge of the creator ecosystem including platforms, talent levels, pricing, content styles, and emerging trends.
- Demonstrated success in negotiating deals at scale with talent, including celebrities and macro-influencers.
- Existing network of relationships with creator talent and their management is highly advantageous.
- Exceptional project management abilities with the capacity to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines.
- Collaborative mindset balanced with decisive leadership to drive initiatives forward.
- Excellent written and verbal communication suited for client presentations and internal clarity.
- Experience using influencer marketing platforms and analytics tools such as AspireIQ, Grin, Traackr, and CreatorIQ.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
- Background or interest in sports, music, or entertainment industry verticals.
- Experience with paid amplification strategies and dark posting for creator content.
- Knowledge of brand safety protocols alongside authentic creator-first storytelling techniques.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range offered is $170,000 to $190,000 annually. This role includes eligibility for benefits and a discretionary bonus. Note that salary may vary based on experience, tenure, industry sector, and geography. This position is not open for sponsorship.
