Job description

About the company and role

Mistplay is a leading loyalty platform for mobile gamers, helping millions of users discover games and earn rewards that can be redeemed for gift cards. The company’s B2B offering, LoyaltyPlay, is a monetization solution for mobile app publishers. It helps app owners create a new recurring revenue stream and improve user engagement by rewarding their users for installing and playing mobile games from Mistplay’s advertiser network.

This position is a high-impact sales leadership role focused on selling a differentiated, performance-driven monetization product to a worldwide mobile app audience. The ideal candidate will lead a distributed North American sales team and act as a hands-on player-coach with strong deal strategy, operational discipline, and performance management skills.

Work arrangement

In Canada, the role follows a hybrid schedule with 2 days per week in the office. The office locations are Toronto at 400 University Ave and Montreal at 1001 Blvd. Robert-Bourassa.

What you will do

  • Guide and support a distributed team of experienced Account Executives so they can prioritize effectively and hit their targets.
  • Serve as executive sponsor on major enterprise opportunities, joining important meetings and helping steer complex procurement and legal processes.
  • Work with leadership on practical targets and commission structures that encourage the right sales behavior.
  • Keep close track of the North American pipeline, spot blockers early, and coach team members to improve performance.
  • Partner closely with Sales, Customer Success, and Operations to create a smooth internal experience that supports customer wins.
  • Build repeatable sales processes and structure that improve consistency without unnecessary bureaucracy.

What Mistplay is looking for

The company is seeking a proven North American sales leader with 10 to 15 years of enterprise B2B sales experience, including substantial experience managing senior, high-performing sellers. The right person should be comfortable acting as a credible coach, contributing directly in large deal rooms, and leading through expertise rather than micromanagement.

This role fits someone who is pragmatic, collaborative, and low-ego, with strong commercial judgment and experience designing incentive plans and field-ready sales workflows. Prior experience leading remote teams across multiple time zones is important.

Preferred background

Experience in Gaming, AdTech, or fast-growing SaaS partnerships would be especially valuable. Mistplay also values candidates who have handled full-cycle sales motions, including both new customer acquisition and expansion of existing accounts, and who have worked effectively with C-suite stakeholders at large enterprise organizations.

What success looks like

  • The team feels better supported with clearer daily direction and prioritization.
  • Strategic deals move faster through the funnel because of your direct involvement in deal design.
  • The North American region becomes a dependable revenue engine with strong pipeline visibility and consistent quota performance.

Additional information

Mistplay describes itself as the category creator and market leader in the play-and-earn mobile loyalty space. The company emphasizes growth, data-driven learning, adaptability, and a culture where employees are encouraged to share ideas, take calculated risks, and bring new concepts to life.

Benefits mentioned include team lunches, game nights, and company-wide events, available in both virtual and in-person formats.

The company also states that it may use artificial intelligence tools to help with parts of the hiring process, such as application review, resume analysis, and identifying inconsistencies or verification signals in application materials. These tools support the recruiting team and do not replace human judgment. Final hiring decisions are made by people.

The job posting notes that the salary is based on the U.S. national average and refers to base salary only. It also mentions a commission component, additional benefits, including equity, and a strong focus on internal pay equity. The sentence about equal pay appears to be cut off in the source.

Equal opportunity note

The posting includes a French-language note thanking all candidates and explains that masculine wording was used only to simplify the text. It states that the employer supports employment equity principles.

French-language summary

The source also provides the full role description in French, which mirrors the English version: leadership of a distributed sales team, support on major enterprise deals, coordination with leadership on goals and commissions, pipeline management, cross-functional collaboration, and process design. It repeats the same preferred background, success measures, and culture/perks information.

  • Lead and support a distributed group of senior Account Executives so they can focus on the right priorities and perform consistently.
  • Take part in large enterprise deals as an executive sponsor, helping shape strategy and move through procurement and legal stages.
  • Collaborate with leadership to establish workable targets and commission plans that reinforce desired outcomes.
  • Monitor the North American pipeline closely, identify obstacles, and coach the team to raise performance.
  • Coordinate across Sales, Customer Success, and Operations to ensure an efficient internal experience behind each customer win.
  • Create clearer sales structure and repeatable processes while avoiding unnecessary red tape.
  • 10 to 15 years of experience in enterprise B2B sales.
  • Significant background managing experienced, high-performing sales professionals.
  • Ability to coach credibly and contribute in high-value, complex deal discussions.
  • Strong commercial judgment and practical understanding of incentive and workflow design.
  • Comfort leading distributed teams across multiple time zones.
  • Prior experience in Gaming, AdTech, or high-growth SaaS partnerships is preferred.
  • Experience with full-cycle sales, including both new business and account expansion, is preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively with C-level stakeholders at large enterprise organizations is preferred.
  • Team lunches, game nights, and company-wide events.
  • Perks available both virtually and in person.
  • Equity is mentioned as part of the overall compensation and benefits package.

Experienced sales leaders with a background in enterprise B2B, especially those who have led senior individual contributors and can operate effectively in a remote or hybrid North American environment, are a fit for this role. Candidates with Gaming, AdTech, or SaaS partnership experience are especially well aligned.
