Senior Director, Retail Stores - Outlet East & Canada

Overview

We are seeking an experienced, proactive retail leader to oversee multi-market retail operations and drive sales growth and profitability throughout the East Coast and Canada. This leadership role involves direct coaching and management of District Managers and store leaders, ensuring high performance and accountability within the team. The successful candidate will maintain close engagement with store operations via site visits and data analysis to quickly identify and resolve challenges and maintain excellent business execution standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee the achievement of goals across territories, districts, and stores, monitoring district progress to ensure sales targets and objectives are fully met.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders and cross-functional teams to shape strategies that support business objectives, approaching challenges with a growth-oriented mindset.
• Conduct regular store visits to maintain business oversight, enforce policy compliance, and uphold visual merchandising and customer service excellence.
• Evaluate expense management and sales data to optimize store profitability and operational efficiency.
• Work alongside senior and district management teams to identify and capitalize on market-specific business opportunities and events.
• Analyze district-level performance metrics to formulate strategies that enhance business outcomes.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, development, and retention of top talent suited for each district within the region.
• Partner with Human Resources and management on performance evaluation and talent development programs.
• Communicate company goals effectively to senior district managers, district managers, and store leadership teams.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in retail management, specifically within high-volume, multi-unit environments across diverse markets.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience is required.
