Role Overview
This senior leadership position is focused on strengthening and expanding enterprise project and program management capabilities within a fast-growing healthcare services setting. You will guide a portfolio of complex, cross-functional initiatives that serve both clients and internal strategic priorities.
The role centers on creating consistent delivery practices, improving predictability, and raising operational performance across all project management processes. You will establish governance standards, delivery methods, and supporting tools that keep teams and business units aligned.
A major part of the job is enabling strong execution while managing scope, cost, quality, and timelines in a balanced way. You will work closely with executive stakeholders on transformation efforts that have a direct effect on healthcare revenue cycle outcomes. This is a high-visibility leadership role that calls for strategic judgment, operational discipline, and the ability to influence broadly across the organization.
Key Accountabilities
- Direct several simultaneous enterprise programs and projects across both client and internal portfolios, making sure work is delivered within scope, schedule, and budget.
- Build, standardize, and improve project management frameworks, including SOPs, governance structures, templates, and toolkits.
- Manage the full project lifecycle from intake and planning through execution, tracking, and handoff to operations.
- Set and uphold portfolio governance practices, RAID management, reporting routines, and performance measurement systems.
- Work alongside operations and transformation leadership to strengthen operating models and improve scalability and consistency.
- Oversee resource planning, capacity allocation, budgeting, and scheduling across active initiatives.
- Deliver executive-ready reporting, insights, and escalation support for strategic programs.
- Coordinate cross-functional work across business units to maintain alignment and high-quality delivery.
- Help expand organizational project delivery maturity and improve enterprise PMO capabilities to support growth.
Requirements
- 10–15+ years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle operations or a related healthcare/technology environment.
- At least 5 years leading program and project management work across multiple concurrent enterprise initiatives.
- Solid understanding of revenue cycle management KPIs and financial performance measures.
- Proven experience creating or strengthening PMO structures, governance models, and operational delivery frameworks.
- Demonstrated success leading large cross-functional teams and driving strong execution.
- Excellent executive communication and presentation skills, with experience working with senior stakeholders.
- Strong command of portfolio management, risk governance, and large-scale transformation efforts.
- Well-developed organizational abilities and the capacity to balance competing priorities in complex environments.
- Ability to travel up to 25% when needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
