Overview
As the Senior Director of Product Management for Surgical Imaging, you will oversee the technical leadership and management of the Video Product Technology portfolio. Your role involves guiding the development of product specifications related to imaging and operating room integration, ensuring the portfolio performs excellently on a global scale throughout its lifecycle. A key focus will be maintaining regulatory compliance, technical innovation, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the technical management of the Video Product Technology portfolio, directing product strategy from development through lifecycle management.
- Collaborate with Strategy & Innovation Excellence and Solution Management teams to define and position the portfolio in alignment with current market demands and anticipated trends over the next 3 to 5 years.
- Manage and mentor several senior directors and their teams, fostering a culture committed to technical excellence and compliance while encouraging ongoing skill advancement.
- Ensure that products comply with global regulatory standards such as MDR and FDA, maintain cybersecurity requirements, and continuously improve technical documentation.
- Serve as an intermediary between Solutions, CRD teams, and other internal or external stakeholders, representing Product Technology Management in management committees and ensuring effective collaboration.
- Drive and support innovation, translating technological insights into product development and solution management initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience
- A bachelor's degree in engineering, life sciences, or a similar field is required; a master's degree is preferred.
- Between 10 to 15 years of professional experience in a technical industry, preferably within medical technology.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in management, leading upstream or downstream technical functions.
- Familiarity with artificial intelligence and current innovation trends.
- Strong leadership capabilities across functions, with a deep understanding of clinical applications, medical devices, and relevant technologies.
- Exceptional skills in conflict resolution, risk management, and communication.
- Fluency in both written and spoken English.
