Senior Director of Strategic Operations

Role overview

This is a full-time remote opportunity available anywhere within the United States for a Senior Director of Strategic Operations. The position is centered on setting company-wide operational direction and turning strategy into measurable execution. You will ensure that operational plans are tightly aligned with business goals, performance targets, and growth priorities.

In partnership with executive leadership, you will guide operational excellence efforts, steer major cross-functional initiatives, refine core business processes, and lift overall organizational performance. The role also involves working closely with Business Development, Client Services, Data, Finance, and Operations teams to build scalable operating systems that can support continued expansion in the cryptocurrency investment strategy space.

The company is looking for a seasoned strategic operator with strong leadership capabilities, sharp analytical thinking, and a history of delivering meaningful operational change in fast-moving financial services or technology environments.

Key responsibilities

• Shape and execute enterprise-level operational strategy in alignment with leadership priorities and business objectives.
• Lead large strategic programs that improve performance, scale operations, and strengthen organizational effectiveness.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and raise the quality and efficiency of day-to-day operations.
• Build and maintain frameworks that track business performance, operational metrics, and strategic progress.
• Collaborate across Business Development, Client Services, Data, Finance, and Operations to support coordinated execution.
• Partner with executive stakeholders to translate growth goals into practical operating models and action plans.
• Drive reporting structures, dashboards, and KPI systems that support informed decision-making at the leadership level.
• Guide cross-functional teams through complex transformation initiatives in a high-growth setting.

Qualifications and requirements

• Broad leadership background in Strategic Operations, Business Operations, Corporate Strategy, Management Consulting, Program Management, or Operational Excellence.
• Demonstrated success leading organization-wide strategic initiatives and operational change efforts.
• Deep capability in process improvement, performance management, and organizational development.
• Strong command of financial analysis, business analysis, and structured problem-solving.
• Experience creating executive dashboards, operational KPIs, and performance reporting tools.
• Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Prior experience leading cross-functional teams in a high-growth organization.
• Exposure to cryptocurrency, digital assets, fintech, investment management, or broader financial services is highly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related discipline is required.
• MBA or another advanced degree is preferred.
