Role Overview: Senior Director of People & Culture

Reporting directly to the VP of Human Resources, you will serve as a key strategic partner to leadership within a fast-growing and mission-driven company. This full-time, exempt position is remote and centers on leading and shaping the organization’s people strategy, culture, and HR programs as we scale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with leadership to co-create and execute a comprehensive People & Culture strategy aligned with company growth.
  • Focus on enhancing the talent lifecycle, improving recruitment standards, and expanding involvement in talent management processes.
  • Participate in critical organizational decisions regarding structure, compensation, succession planning, and complex personnel matters, fostering alignment and trust.
  • Implement and scale effective programs such as performance management, compensation frameworks, career development, leadership training, and employee engagement to support growth.
  • Nurture and maintain a strong, intentional culture through clear values, meaningful traditions despite distributed teams, and transparent communication.

Who You Are

  • An experienced people leader with a track record of managing HR functions in rapidly growing companies and adapting programs to scale appropriately.
  • Balanced strategic thinker and detail-oriented executor thriving in collaborative environments with senior leadership.
  • Possess executive presence with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders candidly yet warmly.
  • Well-versed in multi-state HR operations, including compliance, benefits management, HRIS systems, and employee relations.
  • Motivated by the challenge of fast-paced growth and dedicated to effecting meaningful change in workforce development.
