Role overview

The Senior Director of Operations is a full-time remote leadership position responsible for driving operational performance across the online lending platform. The role involves shaping operational strategy, improving and standardizing processes, and ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies while supporting scalable growth in a fast-moving fintech environment.

Key responsibilities

This leader will oversee day-to-day operations, guide cross-functional teams, and ensure operations are aligned with product, technology, and customer support priorities. The role includes tracking key performance indicators, using data to identify improvement opportunities, and strengthening overall operational efficiency.

Additional duties include managing budgets, overseeing resource allocation, and handling relationships with vendors. The position also requires building a culture of accountability, collaboration, and data-backed decision-making, while partnering with senior leadership to set priorities, reduce risk, and improve the customer experience.

Qualifications and experience

Candidates should bring deep experience in operations leadership, ideally from fintech, financial services, or technology-enabled platforms. Familiarity with online lending, operational risk, and the regulatory landscape for digital financial services is an advantage.
