Position Overview

Our partner company seeks a Senior Director of Marketing focused on consulting businesses, located in Canada. This role is pivotal in crafting and advancing brand strategies and market presence for premier consulting and insights organizations by leveraging impactful storytelling and thought leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that align with business goals, brand positioning, and growth targets.
  • Enhance brand equity through compelling storytelling, thought leadership, and creation of high-quality market-facing content.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership, consultants, and experts to discover opportunities and elevate expertise-driven programs.
  • Direct production of engaging content such as research reports, white papers, blogs, client success stories, executive insights, and social media posts.
  • Convert proprietary research, industry trends, and consulting knowledge into distinctive narratives to differentiate the brand in the marketplace.
  • Manage digital marketing efforts including website management, SEO, social media strategies, email marketing campaigns, and audience engagement.
  • Plan and refine marketing campaigns aimed at boosting awareness, influence, credibility, and positioning.
  • Use analytics to assess campaign outcomes and iteratively enhance marketing effectiveness.
  • Oversee external agencies, freelancers, and contractors to ensure timely and high-quality marketing deliverables.

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive marketing leadership experience in consulting, professional services, market research, consumer insights, or related sectors.

  • Strong strategic thinker capable of switching between long-range planning and hands-on operational execution.

  • Effective stakeholder management skills, with the capacity to collaborate with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
