Position Overview
This leadership role provides primary HR counsel and consultation to the India Sub-Continent and GOC hubs, focusing on strengthening organizational capabilities and elevating employee engagement across India, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategically align human resources initiatives with overall business objectives.
- Drive execution of HR strategies that deliver impactful programs and initiatives supportive of business goals.
- Offer expert leadership and advice to management on HR matters while developing their leadership capabilities.
- Collaborate with management and Total Rewards teams to maintain competitive and fair compensation and benefits.
- Lead initiatives that boost workforce engagement, performance recognition, and inspiration.
- Identify and nurture leadership talent, supporting succession planning efforts.
- Provide guidance for managing employee relations issues effectively.
- Monitor and report HR metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of people practices.
- Actively contribute to regional HR projects and initiatives.
- Lead a high-performing, collaborative HR team delivering outstanding internal customer service.
- Coordinate with all HR specialties including talent acquisition, performance management, organizational design, compensation, benefits, diversity and inclusion, employee relations, leadership development, and training to provide seamless support.
- Utilize HR policies and practices to foster a positive, high-achieving workplace culture.
- Drive workforce inclusion, representation, and diversity efforts.
- Educate management on compliance with laws and company policies, ensuring ethical decisions and actions.
- Ensure adherence to labor laws and statutory requirements.
- Demonstrate strong recruiting expertise with a passion for acquiring top talent.

Eligibility Criteria and Qualifications
- Minimum of 12 years of comprehensive HR experience, including at least 7 years in a leadership capacity.
- Experience within the fashion or retail sectors highly preferred; prior work in multinational and multicultural environments essential.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities such as driving change, coaching, mentoring, and team development.
- Strong interpersonal skills for building collaborative relationships internally and externally.
- Capability to influence cross-functionally and across organizational levels.
- Balancing short-term operational needs while guiding long-term strategic HR vision.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and presentation abilities.
- Adaptability to changing business priorities and demands.
