Role Overview

The Senior Director Finance position is a full-time remote opportunity responsible for steering Depco Power Systems' financial strategy, planning, and reporting activities. This leadership role manages financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and forecasting processes to aid executive decision-making and foster sustained company growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead preparation and review of financial statements ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, regulations, and internal controls.
• Analyze financial performance, identify trends and potential risks, and provide strategic recommendations to enhance profitability, cash flow, and operational productivity.
• Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams on strategic projects, capital expenditures, and improvements to business processes.
• Build, guide, and mentor a high-performing remote finance team.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Robust expertise in financial planning including budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial strategy development.
• Skilled at preparing, reviewing, and interpreting financial statements and reports for both internal management and external stakeholders.
• Proficiency in complex data analysis, scenario modeling, and communicating clear financial insights and actionable advice.
• Extensive corporate finance leadership experience, preferably in industrial, energy, or equipment-focused industries.
• Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP or IFRS, internal control systems, and regulatory compliance standards.
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing and mentoring finance teams in decentralized or remote working environments.
• Excellent communication capabilities enabling effective collaboration with executive-level leaders and cross-departmental personnel.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related disciplines required; advanced degrees (MBA) or certifications like CPA or CFA are advantageous.
• Experience with financial software, ERP solutions, and strong skills in spreadsheet management and financial modeling.
• Self-motivated with the ability to independently handle multiple priorities and champion continuous process improvements in finance operations.
