Position Overview

This leadership role, based in the United States, focuses on developing and scaling a direct-to-consumer (DTC) marketing operation that links families to key healthcare services. The Senior Director will be responsible for crafting and steering the DTC strategy, defining growth objectives, and leading initiatives that increase brand awareness, customer engagement, conversion rates, and retention.

Core Responsibilities

  • Develop and own the DTC marketing strategy, setting annual goals and quarterly priorities that translate business ambitions into clear growth plans.
  • Identify growth opportunities throughout the customer journey, including acquisition, conversion, appointment scheduling, engagement, and retention.
  • Create scalable marketing frameworks targeting customer acquisition in both digital and physical market spheres.
  • Design and implement go-to-market strategies for new market entry and expansion efforts.
  • Lead marketing strategy across multiple channels such as paid media, search engines, social platforms, display and streaming ads, SEO, content, website management, lifecycle marketing, and digital expansion.
  • Provide strategic leadership to ensure alignment between marketing channel owners, creative teams, and business objectives.
  • Oversee external agency relationships, ensuring accountability for delivering performance and achieving measurable outcomes.
  • Establish and monitor measurement frameworks, key performance indicators (KPIs), reporting structures, and operational routines to evaluate marketing effectiveness.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Data, Clinical, Contact Center, and business departments to synchronize marketing efforts with customer experience and operational objectives.
  • Represent marketing leadership by communicating insights, strategies, and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Maintain brand consistency across all customer interactions, while tailoring creative strategies for diverse audiences and channels.
  • Lead quarterly planning, prioritization, and execution processes to enhance operational speed, teamwork, and impact.

Candidate Requirements

  • Over seven years of marketing experience including senior leadership roles specifically in direct-to-consumer marketing.
  • Proven track record of developing DTC strategies that deliver measurable growth in acquisition and conversion rates.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of consumer acquisition channels such as paid media, SEO, content marketing, lifecycle marketing, social media, and digital growth initiatives.
  • Strong analytical skills to leverage data and performance metrics for opportunity identification, investment optimization, and informed decision-making.
  • Experience managing external marketing agencies and ensuring their accountability to business goals.
  • Excellent cross-functional leadership capabilities with the ability to influence diverse teams across Product, Data, Operations, and Clinical areas.
  • Ability to balance strategic foresight and tactical execution in a fast-paced environment.
  • Deep understanding of brand strategy and ability to integrate brand building with performance marketing results.
  • Outstanding communication skills for effectively presenting insights and strategies to senior stakeholders.
  • Preferred experience in healthcare, digital health, consumer healthcare, or regulated sectors.
  • Familiarity with healthcare marketing compliance, privacy rules, and responsible communication practices is advantageous.
