Role Overview

We seek a Senior Director of Change Management to spearhead and expand our Change and Communications Management services. This leadership role requires a strategic thinker with demonstrated success in steering organizations through complex transformations. Ideal candidates often have backgrounds in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Organizational Development, Talent Management, or related fields.

The successful candidate will help companies balance business priorities, workforce dynamics, and organizational effectiveness throughout enterprise-level change initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership at top-tier clients, guiding strategic development and execution of change management plans including leadership alignment, stakeholder engagement, impact assessments, readiness, and communications.
  • Collaborate with executives and HR to support organizational design, workforce planning, succession, and leadership transitions aligned with transformative goals.
  • Lead culture transformation efforts, defining desired behaviors, enhancing leadership cohesion, reinforcing organizational values, and embedding enduring cultural change.
  • Evaluate how change impacts organizational culture, workforce, leadership, design, and readiness.
  • Design and implement comprehensive change and workforce transition strategies including leadership engagement approaches.
  • Identify resistance sources, develop targeted mitigation plans, and manage risks associated with stakeholder impacts.
  • Identify opportunities to improve business outcomes consistent with company objectives.
  • Handle sensitive organizational and employee data with high professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
  • Contribute significantly to business development through proposals, thought leadership, and client presentations.
  • Partner with diverse stakeholders to shepherd change policies enterprise-wide.
  • Develop and deploy communication strategies that enable teams to embrace change.
  • Lead, mentor, and coach a team of professionals to foster their growth and performance.
  • Produce high-quality client deliverables.

Qualifications and Attributes

  • Exceptional relationship management skills for influencing key stakeholders.
  • Proven capability to manage sensitive information with excellent judgment and confidentiality.
  • Creative problem solver skilled in storytelling and visual communication.
  • Dedicated to delivering client-centric, outcomes-driven, cost-effective, and detail-oriented solutions.
  • Strong leadership with a passion for mentoring high-performing teams.
  • Certifications like Prosci or CCMP strongly preferred.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing multiple complex projects simultaneously with precision.

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Extensive experience (15+ years) leading enterprise-wide organizational transformations, change management, communications, culture shifts, and leadership alignment.
  • Track record working alongside executive leaders and HR on organizational effectiveness, talent strategies, succession, design, and workforce transformations.
  • Experience with mergers & acquisitions, restructuring, leadership transitions, workforce planning, or succession is a significant plus.
  • Familiarity with the real estate sector is advantageous.
