As Levels continues its growth journey toward becoming a leading premium nutrition brand in North America, it is hiring a Senior Director of Business Operations to strengthen and scale its operating foundation.
Role overview
This senior leadership position is responsible for designing, improving, and scaling the operational core of the business. The role covers manufacturing, supply planning, inventory control, logistics, co-manufacturing partnerships, purchasing, operational workflows, and ongoing process improvement. The selected leader will work closely with Supply Chain, Finance, Product Development, Sales, Quality, Customer Experience, and executive stakeholders to help the company grow efficiently while protecting customer experience and product standards.
The company is seeking a seasoned operator who has already led operations in a fast-growing consumer packaged goods environment.
Key responsibilities
- Own and coordinate daily operational execution across the organization.
- Create repeatable processes and systems that can support sustained high growth.
- Strengthen efficiency, service performance, inventory health, and working capital outcomes.
- Work with Supply Chain leadership on production planning, purchasing, and inventory strategy.
- Design and maintain operational KPIs, reporting tools, and business dashboards.
- Align Operations with Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, Product Development, Finance, and Customer Experience.
- Spot operational constraints and implement solutions that scale.
- Lead continuous improvement efforts across systems, workflows, and processes.
- Support product launches and commercialization activities.
- Build, coach, and retain strong operations teams.
- Manage operational risks and create backup plans for manufacturing and supply disruptions.
- Prepare operations for continued retail expansion and ecommerce growth.
- Assist executive leadership with annual planning, forecasting, and strategic priorities.

Required experience and background
- More than 10 years of progressive leadership experience in operations.
- At least 8 years of experience in Food & Beverage CPG, Sports Nutrition, Dietary Supplements, Functional Foods, or Functional Beverages.
- At least 5 years leading operations in a high-growth CPG setting with ownership of multiple operational areas.
- Proven success scaling consumer brands through rapid growth periods.
- Strong working knowledge of manufacturing, co-manufacturing, production planning, inventory management, procurement, logistics, demand planning, and operational excellence.
- Experience leading and developing high-performing cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical ability, financial judgment, and operational decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication skills and executive-level presence.
- Proven ability to solve complex operational problems while building systems that can scale.
- Hands-on approach with a strong bias toward action.
Industry requirements
Candidates must bring substantial operational leadership experience in one or more of the following areas: Food & Beverage CPG, Sports Nutrition, Dietary Supplements, Functional Foods, or Functional Beverages. The majority of the candidate’s career should have been spent in these industries. Experience only outside consumer packaged goods will not be considered.
Preferred exposure includes supporting brands sold through a mix of DTC, Amazon, national retail, wholesale, and contract manufacturing channels.
