Senior Designer (all genders)

About the role

Highsnobiety is hiring a Senior Designer for its Creative team in Berlin. The position spans client, agency, and brand work, and suits someone who can think conceptually, create with confidence, and drive projects from early ideas through final delivery.

You will report to the VP Creative, Design and help shape the studio’s output across several parallel projects. The role combines strategic input, high-level visual refinement, and hands-on design work, while also supporting and guiding more junior team members.

Key responsibilities

• Take the lead on design work across client and agency assignments, with occasional involvement in brand projects
• Turn briefs and creative direction into clear, compelling concepts and visual systems
• Develop and manage layout, typography, and overall visual language across multiple formats and channels
• Create and supervise design execution for digital, print, motion, spatial, and experiential outputs when needed
• Help craft client-facing presentations and strengthen visual narratives
• Work closely with creative direction, strategy, production, and project management teams
• Maintain strong standards of craft, consistency, and clarity in every deliverable
• Support junior designers through feedback, direction, and informal mentorship
• Look for ways to improve team workflows, working methods, and overall creative quality

Skills and experience

• At least 5 years of design experience, ideally in an agency or similarly fast-moving creative setting
• Strong conceptual ability paired with polished execution
• Advanced command of layout and typography
• Excellent working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Figma
• Motion design capability is a strong advantage
• Comfort presenting work and explaining design choices internally
• Ability to balance ambitious ideas with practical project constraints
• Agency background preferred
