Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior D365 Finance & Operations Consultant to join the DTI team. This senior role involves dual responsibilities of providing ongoing support across the group and meat division in Ireland, while spearheading a two-year programme of planned functionality upgrades. Reporting to the Business Systems Manager, the role demands strong finance expertise, a thorough understanding of how D365 F&O integrates with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), and knowledge of end-to-end Order to Cash workflow within the ERP environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for D365 F&O support for Kepak Group and Meat Division Ireland, resolving system issues, implementing configuration changes, and managing escalations from users.
- Collaborate closely with the Finance teams at Meat Division Ireland locations to ensure the accuracy and compliance of D365 Finance modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash & Bank Management.
- Manage and prioritize the ongoing support queue, triaging incidents, and providing clear communication regarding resolution timelines to stakeholders.
- Lead the implementation and delivery of D365 F&O functional enhancements over a two-year roadmap encompassing Finance, Supply Chain, Order to Cash, and Manufacturing integration.
- Analyze enhancement requirements, design solutions, oversee testing phases, and maintain proper documentation throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Facilitate the integration of D365 F&O with MES to ensure precise production data flow into finance and operations, aligning with established process standards for meat processing.
- Conduct discovery and solution workshops engaging Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations stakeholders across the Group and Meat Division in Ireland.
- Work collaboratively with DTI team, IT Operations, Data, and Business Intelligence functions to optimize D365 integration with Kepak’s technology ecosystem.
- Partner with MES, Supply Chain, and Operations teams to ensure ERP capabilities align with process needs and broader transformation objectives.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Extensive consultancy experience with D365 F&O Finance modules, preferably involving full lifecycle implementations and sustained operational support.
- In-depth functional expertise with modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash & Bank Management, and Financial Reporting.
- Clear comprehension of the Order to Cash process within D365 encompassing order management, fulfillment, invoicing, and cash application workflows.
- Experience in integrating D365 F&O with Manufacturing Execution Systems or similar operational technologies, with a strong grasp on cross-boundary process mapping between production and finance.
- Background in finance management within manufacturing, retail, or distribution sectors is highly beneficial.
- Robust understanding of ERP architecture and integration layers, particularly D365 connections to broader business systems.
- Experience with structured project methodologies such as Waterfall or Agile.
- Familiarity with business intelligence tools including Power BI.
