Work Arrangement
The role follows a hybrid working model. Work will be split between home and a LinkedIn office on selected days based on business requirements. The position is based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. Customers will include both India-based accounts and US staffing clients, with work aligned to US hours for those accounts.
Role Overview
The Senior Customer Success Manager will work closely with Account Managers to help customers realize strong value from their LinkedIn investment. The role functions as a project lead and talent advisor for assigned accounts, supporting smooth onboarding and handling complex product implementations for existing customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with the account team on priority accounts to improve product adoption, strengthen customer outcomes, and reduce churn risk.
- Align with customers on business goals, build measurable success plans, and set a regular rhythm for communication, operational reviews, and ROI discussions.
- Help customers become confident in using the product and understanding how it supports their goals.
- Monitor engagement levels, identify underuse, and recommend actions that improve customer success.
- Study engagement data to spot education and onboarding needs, and encourage best-practice use of the Learning Center.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to customer leadership, guiding adoption and linking the solution to agreed operational priorities and business value.
- Maintain strong product and industry knowledge to recommend the most relevant features for each customer’s needs.
- Record all customer interactions accurately and promptly using internal systems.
- Convert customer feedback into product insights and represent the customer perspective to the Product team.
- Offer strategic guidance that helps map LinkedIn solutions to existing customer workflows and accelerates adoption.
- Recognize and celebrate customer successes achieved through LinkedIn products and solutions.
- Support change management efforts for both internal systems/processes and customer-facing product or workflow changes.
Qualifications
Applicants should have at least 7 years of experience in one or more of the following areas: consulting, customer success, account management, customer education or training, sales, project management, or talent management.
A bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) from a four-year college or university is preferred. Experience in recruiting, learning, human capital management, or similar fields is also valued.
Strong communication skills, technical comfort, an analytical mindset, and the ability to manage projects and change effectively are important. The role also requires the ability to build relationships across multiple stakeholders, use data and trends to shape strategy, and identify opportunities for product or service growth.
Hands-on experience with CRM tools, especially Dynamics, along with Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, is preferred. Strong interpersonal ability and a genuine approach to relationship-building are also important.
