Being highly organized and detail-oriented, you excel at managing multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines. You approach challenges creatively and independently, with an ability to quickly identify and solve issues. Staying current with new developments in art and culture, you willingly contribute insights to a multidisciplinary creative team.
Primary Responsibilities
- Conduct qualitative research and analysis of diverse creative content, discerning patterns and themes to pinpoint content gaps and opportunities.

- Collaborate with Sales and Research teams to gather and organize pertinent customer feedback on creative content.
- Source and catalog relevant marketing materials, advertisements, and industry publications for reference.
- Extract insights from external resources such as consumer research databases, global news, pop culture, advertising, and fine arts to help internal and external teams understand global shifts affecting creative content.
- Assist the wider Creative Insights group in compiling and presenting findings to various audiences.
- Partner with marketing teams worldwide to support business growth by delivering visual trend insights.
- Author thought-leadership articles showcasing Getty Images’ creative offerings as innovative and high-quality.
- Develop and present customer-oriented presentations centered on leveraging visual trends for compelling brand narratives.
- Design themed visual boards and compile data for marketing, public relations, and site merchandising activities year-round.
- Represent Getty Images at seminars, panels, and media interviews as needed.
- Provide context on visual trends to content development teams to aid in shoot planning.
- Prepare presentations to share trend insights with contributors both in person and virtually.
Required Qualifications
- Fluency in Japanese and English languages is mandatory.
- A minimum of four years’ relevant experience in fields such as advertising, marketing, research, photography, or videography.
- Basic visual literacy with a broad understanding of photography, popular culture trends (film, television, music, art), and global news; video and filmmaking knowledge is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong communication skills with an ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences.
- Excellent research and analytical abilities capable of synthesizing extensive qualitative and quantitative data.
- Proven experience managing multiple independent projects effectively.
- A positive, team-oriented mindset dedicated to creative excellence.
