Senior Consultant – Governance and Risk Advisory Services

Position Summary

We are looking for a driven and seasoned Senior Consultant specialized in Governance and Risk Advisory Services to join our expanding advisory team in Doha, Qatar. The successful candidate will be instrumental in delivering comprehensive services related to governance, risk management, internal auditing, compliance, and internal controls across a variety of client sectors.

This role is particularly suited for an Arabic-speaking professional with substantial expertise in risk advisory and internal audit wanting to elevate their career within a premier advisory practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee internal audit assignments across diverse industries.
• Conduct risk-focused internal audits adhering to established professional standards and best practices.
• Assess the adequacy and efficiency of governance, risk management, and control frameworks.
• Develop and present internal audit reports, highlighting findings and suggestions to management and audit committees.
• Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and corrective measures.
• Assist clients in developing and enhancing governance structures.
• Carry out enterprise risk management (ERM) evaluations and detailed risk assessments.
• Organize and lead risk identification workshops and help formulate risk registers.
• Review organizational policies, procedures, and control environments to ensure robustness.
• Support the creation and rollout of risk management frameworks.
• Examine and evaluate compliance with regulatory mandates and corporate policies.
• Perform internal control analyses and identify gaps for improvement.
• Guide clients in fortifying control frameworks and compliance initiatives.
• Provide advisory assistance for governance, compliance, and control-related projects.
• Handle multiple projects concurrently, ensuring timely and quality delivery.
• Establish and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a reliable advisor.
• Prepare proposals, presentations, and various client-facing documents.
• Contribute to business development activities and support the growth of the practice.
