About the Role
Join a leading global professional services firm as a Senior Consultant in the Business Consulting team. Based in Christchurch (Ōtautahi), you will be integral in helping clients navigate complex business challenges by designing and implementing strategic transformations. This role includes frequent travel to client locations where you will work closely to drive impactful change and sustainable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute strategic transformation initiatives to support organizations in achieving their goals through effective change management.
- Collaborate with clients and project teams to address intricate business issues and co-deliver lasting results.
- Lead and facilitate workshops, engage stakeholders, and foster alignment among diverse groups.
- Apply expertise across areas such as business transformation, strategy, operating models, service design, customer experience, and program delivery.
- Encourage a high-performing team environment via collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous process enhancements.
- Drive meaningful organizational changes by blending strategic insight with practical implementation techniques.
Required Skills and Experience
- At least 3 to 5 years of experience working in transformation, consulting, program management, or change-related projects.
- Capability to analyze complex business problems and develop actionable, results-oriented solutions.
- Proven success collaborating within teams to deliver projects, programs, or transformations.
- Hands-on experience in strategic development, operating models, service or policy design, customer experience, or program execution.
- Proficient in workshop facilitation and stakeholder presentation skills are highly valued.
- Strong communication skills—both verbal and written—with influence and engagement across diverse stakeholders.
- A track record of building and sustaining effective professional relationships within teams and client environments.
Preferred Qualifications and Additional Attributes
- A bachelor’s degree in fields such as Engineering, Business, Information Systems, Supply Chain, Finance, Economics, Political Science, or related disciplines is desirable.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Design Thinking, Change Management, Project Management, or enterprise architecture frameworks is advantageous.
