Role Overview

This position is for a senior construction domain specialist who will serve as the practical subject-matter voice at the center of SuperHive’s product development. The ideal candidate has spent years working in construction and engineering and understands how real-world processes operate, from design standards reviews to programme rebaselining and quantity surveying. That experience will be translated into product logic and workflow design.

The role is not an occasional advisory position. You will work closely with product, engineering, and data teams, defining what accuracy means across each workflow, testing outputs against actual industry scenarios, and helping the company avoid mistakes that a team without deep construction expertise might make.

What You Will Do

• Set the reference standard for SuperHive’s product packs by defining the correct inputs, steps, edge cases, and failure patterns for compliance review, schedule intelligence, and cost estimation.
• Convert practical construction knowledge into structured expertise that the platform can use, including UAE code interpretation, delay and critical-path analysis, and elemental cost benchmarking.
• Examine agent outputs against real project situations, identify weak or inaccurate results, and guide the necessary improvements.
• Work directly with client-side domain experts, ensure the product reflects actual project workflows, and feed those insights back into the roadmap.
• Help decide which workflows should be automated first, where the biggest cost and volume pain points exist, and how the product should be sequenced based on real project execution.
• Represent the company credibly in discussions, workshops, demos, and discovery sessions with developers, contractors, and consultants.

What You Bring

• At least 10 years of experience in construction or engineering, with strong depth in one or more of the following areas: compliance and design-standards review, planning and scheduling with Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project, cost estimation and BOQ/quantity surveying, or BIM/model coordination.
• Direct hands-on experience in the role itself, such as submitting designs for authority approval, reworking baselines and programme analyses, preparing and benchmarking estimates, or coordinating models.
• Exposure to UAE or wider GCC projects, codes, authorities, developers, and delivery practices, or the ability to adapt quickly to that environment.
• Working familiarity with common industry platforms such as ACC/BIM 360, Procore, Aconex, Primavera P6, Revit/IFC, and quantity surveying or takeoff tools, along with a practical view of their strengths and limitations.
• The ability to think like a product builder: clearly define workflows, identify where they fail, and distinguish between tool limitations and broader data or process issues.
• Strong communication skills, with comfort both in technical coordination discussions and in explaining your reasoning to product and engineering teams.

Nice to Have

• Experience working for a master developer, project owner, or major PMC on large-scale Gulf projects.
• Exposure to construction AI tools or point solutions, including experience buying, piloting, or discontinuing them, and an informed view of why they succeeded or failed.
• A broader perspective on cross-functional coordination challenges, especially where a single design change affects compliance, cost, and schedule together.
• Arabic language skills and an active professional network across UAE or GCC construction markets.
• Practical experience with modern AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, and agentic systems like Claude Cowork, plus a sense of how they reshape workflows.
