About the Role

Join a global leader dedicated to fostering economic opportunity through powerful connections and insightful resources. This Senior Communications Manager role is part of the Employee Communications team, focusing on enterprise-wide internal messaging that supports ongoing programs, new initiatives, and key workforce priorities within the Global Talent Organization. The role involves providing strategic communications advice to Performance Management and Compensation units, shaping impactful narratives that enhance awareness, comprehension, and engagement with Total Rewards programs. Additionally, the role drives other critical HR communications, scaling influence across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders by recommending optimal messaging channels, timing, and content to effectively communicate with employees.
  • Develop and promote strategic employee communication plans based on business insights and needs.
  • Implement communication tactics and analyze outcomes to verify message accuracy and quality across platforms.
  • Lead communication efforts for Performance Management and Compensation teams, crafting internal stories that foster employee understanding and involvement with Total Rewards initiatives.
  • Manage priority projects such as organizational change communication and issues management, driving scalable impact.
  • Maintain strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment and consistent messaging, establishing clear priorities and scope.
  • Create original content and compelling narratives, leveraging varied formats including live events, videos, and emails tailored to appropriate audience and channel choices.
  • Produce high-quality creative communications that support strategic business objectives.

Candidate Qualifications

  • Minimum of 9 years’ experience in Communications, Marketing, or Journalism, including at least 3 years in Employee Communications or a related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related discipline, accompanied by at least 6 years of relevant experience.
  • Preferred qualifications include over 6 years supporting senior leaders, extensive employee communications background, and minimum 2 years in HR-focused communication roles.
  • Proven problem-solving abilities with exceptional judgment and discretion.
  • Strong organizational skills capable of managing multiple concurrent communication projects in ambiguous settings.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range spans from $148,000 to $233,000 annually, with specific offers depending on individual expertise, certifications, and job location. Additional compensation may include annual bonuses, stock options, benefits, and other incentives.
