Role Overview

Siemens Middle East is hiring an experienced communications and content professional to join its Marketing and Communications function in Dubai. Reporting to the Head of Strategic Communications, the role helps shape the region’s storytelling and works in close partnership with Digital, Business Marketing, and Country Communications teams.

Core Responsibilities

You will create clear, engaging, and strategically aligned communications that speak to varied audiences across the region. The role combines content creation, executive communications, editorial coordination, digital publishing, and cross-functional support.

Content Development

  • Write original, high-quality content in English and Arabic across formats such as articles, opinion pieces, press materials, case studies, newsletters, social posts, and internal updates.
  • Convert technical and complex subjects into accessible stories for senior stakeholders by working with subject matter experts.
  • Prepare multimedia content briefs, including video scripts and visual direction, in collaboration with the digital team.

Executive and Thought Leadership Communications

  • Support senior leaders with briefing notes, key messages, talking points, and Q&A documents for interviews, panels, and speaking engagements.
  • Draft executive social media content that supports the organization’s thought leadership positioning.
  • Create speeches, remarks, and presentations for executives, while coordinating the content and logistics for profiling activities.
  • Assist with media relations by preparing press materials, media kits, and interview coordination support.
  • Research market and industry developments to feed the thought-leadership pipeline and produce impactful bylined articles and opinion content.

Editorial and Content Operations

  • Oversee content production flow from planning through review and publishing, ensuring alignment with the regional editorial schedule and brand standards.
  • Maintain Siemens’ editorial tone, accuracy, and narrative consistency across all deliverables.
  • Work with agencies and internal teams to manage approvals and content development.

Digital, Social, and Event Support

  • Adapt content for website, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube, while applying SEO and AEO best practices to improve discoverability.
  • Track content performance and use insights to improve engagement and reach in coordination with the digital communications team.
  • Bring forward fresh ideas based on emerging digital trends.
  • Collaborate with business communications teams to gather stories, customer references, and technical expertise.
  • Support event communications before, during, and after events through promotion, on-site capture guidance, and reporting.
  • Contribute to internal communications content such as employee stories, leadership updates, and transformation messaging.
  • Coordinate with country communications teams to localize content and maintain regional alignment.

Experience and Qualifications

The role calls for at least 5 years of experience in communications, content, journalism, or editorial work, ideally in a corporate, agency, or B2B setting. Strong professional writing and editing ability in both English and Arabic is essential, along with the capability to produce polished, publication-ready content in both languages. A bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related discipline is required.

Desired Background

Added value will come from experience in B2B technology, energy, infrastructure, or industrial sectors. Familiarity with social media management tools such as Sprinklr, CRM or newsletter platforms, and AI-supported content workflows is helpful. Regional knowledge of the GCC or MENA market, as well as exposure to executive profiling or CEO communications programs, is also a plus.
