Role Overview
The Senior Clinical Psychologist position entails delivering in-person psychological services to professionals operating within social environments in Sharjah. This full-time role requires conducting thorough psychological evaluations, facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions, and designing evidence-backed intervention strategies aimed at enhancing mental health, resilience, and professional performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive psychological assessments and provide psychotherapy to individuals and groups.
- Develop and implement intervention plans based on established psychological practices.
- Collaborate with leaders, human resources, and multidisciplinary teams to create wellness and stress management programs tailored for social workplace settings.
- Design crisis response protocols to address workplace psychological emergencies.
- Keep detailed clinical records adhering to ethical and regulatory guidelines.
- Contribute to internal training initiatives on burnout prevention, psychological safety, and fostering supportive leadership.
- Regularly evaluate program outcomes, updating initiatives based on data-driven insights.
- Offer expert consultation on complex cases and organizational mental health policies.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Proficient clinical practice skills including psychological diagnosis, treatment planning, individual/group psychotherapy, and assessment.
- Expertise in evidence-based methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, trauma-informed approaches, stress and anxiety interventions, and performance psychology designed for adults.
- Experience in workplace or organizational psychology with the ability to create and assess mental health and wellness programs in professional environments.
- Strong abilities in consultation and teamwork with leadership, HR, and cross-functional groups, specifically in high-pressure settings.
- Competence in maintaining accurate clinical documentation, confidentiality, and compliance with ethical and regulatory standards.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to develop trust with diverse stakeholders.
- Possession of a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology or equivalent from an accredited institution, alongside valid licensure or registration as a clinical psychologist.
- Prior work experience within corporate, healthcare, or demanding operational environments; familiarity with supply chain or technology industries is considered beneficial.
- Willingness and ability to work full-time onsite in Sharjah, managing a consistent caseload and adapting to changing organizational requirements.
