Key responsibilities

  • Take the lead on planning, designing, and overseeing construction for complex infrastructure projects from concept through delivery.

  • Carry out site inspections, review drawings and specifications, and advise on corrective or remedial actions where needed.
  • Support contract and project management work, including communication with subcontractors and project stakeholders.
  • Coach and develop project team members while encouraging innovation, better ways of working, and ongoing learning.
  • Gather, review, and interpret project information to inform decisions and support outcomes tailored to client needs.
  • Stay current with engineering codes, industry practices, and new technologies relevant to infrastructure work.

Candidate profile

  • A bachelor’s qualification in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
  • Between 8 and 15 years of professional engineering experience, with progress toward or possession of CPEng certification preferred.
  • Strong design background across a wide variety of infrastructure projects.
  • A self-motivated approach with the ambition to grow and shape your career.
  • Proven ability to build productive client relationships and identify ways to create value.
  • A delivery-focused mindset with a track record of achieving high-quality outcomes in collaborative settings.
  • Well-developed analytical and problem-solving capability, including confidence with engineering tools and software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work well in multidisciplinary teams.
  • A genuine interest in learning, mentoring others, and contributing to an inclusive team environment.
