Job Overview
We seek an experienced and proactive Senior Civil Engineer to lead project teams, specializing in high-end residential and villa construction projects. The candidate must have over 10 years of expertise in shell & core construction, structural work, finishing operations, MEP coordination, and upscale interior fit-outs. The role involves steering projects from start through to handover, while ensuring compliance with quality, safety, budget, and timeline requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise all shell & core construction activities such as RCC structural tasks, masonry, and civil coordination.
- Oversee finishing works including block work, plastering, waterproofing, screeding, diverse flooring options (tiles, marble, granite, wood types, vinyl, engineered wood), painting, decorative finishes, and external façade treatments.
- Coordinate and supervise MEP services covering electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire protection, lighting, ELV, automation, and smart home systems ensuring smooth interfacing between civil, interior, and MEP teams.
- Manage premium interior fit-out tasks like onsite carpentry, modular kitchens and wardrobes, bespoke furniture, various false ceiling systems, decorative wall paneling with finishes including veneer, laminate, wallpaper, fabric, stone, high-end wall and ceiling finishes, as well as luxury bathroom and kitchen installations.
- Lead multidisciplinary site teams and subcontractors, liaise with architects, consultants, designers, vendors, and clients.
- Monitor schedules, financials, manpower, materials, and subcontractor performances to deliver projects on time, within budget, and up to quality standards.
- Prepare and manage project schedules, work plans, reports, and material planning documents.
- Identify potential construction issues and apply effective technical resolutions.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, quality assurance/control, and company policies.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is mandatory.
- Over 10 years of relevant experience in civil construction, particularly luxury residential and villa projects involving premium interiors.
- Strong command over RCC, structural engineering, shell & core construction, finishing works, luxury interiors, and MEP coordination.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, interior, and MEP drawings accurately.
- Excellent project planning, leadership, decision-making, communication, coordination, and client relationship skills.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; familiarity with MS Project and Primavera P6 is advantageous.
Preferred Candidate Profile
The selected candidate will be a self-directed leader capable of managing end-to-end luxury residential and villa projects independently. They must demonstrate technical excellence, effective leadership, and the ability to orchestrate harmonious cooperation among civil, structural, MEP, and interior disciplines to ensure top-tier outcomes and client satisfaction.
