Job description
About Philips
Philips is a worldwide health technology company focused on helping improve lives across the globe and contributing to a healthier, more sustainable future through innovation. The organisation is powered by around 80,000 people united by purpose and a strong commitment to meeting customer needs.
This role sits within the international marketing organisation and supports the broader adoption of Philips solutions in growth markets, with responsibility across the full IGTD product and solutions portfolio and a strong focus on ASEAN.
Role Purpose
As Senior Business Marketing Manager, you will act as the marketing lead for the complete Interventional Cardiology Devices portfolio and own dedicated market activity across ASEAN. Your work will help drive demand for the One IGT proposition, increase adoption and utilisation, and improve customer satisfaction across the portfolio.
You will collaborate with global marketing, regional teams, sales, market intelligence, and clinical partners to translate global strategy into effective local action.
What You Will Do
- Create and implement go-to-market plans for the assigned portfolio, using market trends and customer insights to align with international and global strategy.
- Shape portfolio positioning by analysing customer journeys and sales processes to improve conversion and strengthen market presence.
- Work with global and international marketing teams, market intelligence, and sales leadership to prioritise accounts, segments, and growth opportunities.
- Lead initiatives that reinforce partnerships in indirect growth markets and support the wider international marketing organisation.
- Take ownership of ASEAN marketing activities, including strategy, execution, and performance tracking for the assigned geographies.
- Build market-specific plans that reflect local clinical pathways, payer structures, and customer needs while translating global strategy into local outcomes.
- Plan and deliver market development activities that increase clinical adoption through workshops, demonstrations, webinars, and clinical events.
- Develop reference sites, customer testimonials, and clinical proof points, and work with KOLs and professional societies to strengthen market credibility.
- Support new product introductions and launches across the portfolio while maintaining strict timelines and coordination across global, international, and local teams.
- Manage the cadence of product launches and the new product introduction process across regions for well-synchronised execution.
- Create end-of-life and phase-out plans, including discontinuation, inventory reduction, stakeholder communication, and customer transition support.
- Review market trends, competitor pricing, and customer behaviour to assess pricing effectiveness and identify optimisation opportunities.
- Recommend pricing and promotion strategies that improve sales, market positioning, and profitability using data-driven analysis.
- Contribute to annual marketing planning, competitive analysis, and the creation of highly targeted value propositions.
- Track category performance and customer insights continuously to identify gaps and improve decision-making and engagement.
- Design and roll out integrated omni-channel campaigns across digital, event, and field channels to maximise reach and impact.
- Adapt global assets and content to match local decision journeys and support campaign and programme objectives effectively.
- Drive adoption and utilisation initiatives that clearly communicate the One IGT value proposition across the portfolio.
- Build and lead cross-functional teams to execute launches and campaigns, with clear customer personas and strategy alignment.
- Operate with limited supervision, acting as the main marketing contact for assigned portfolio areas and focus markets.
- Develop mid-term marketing strategy proposals by identifying market challenges and opportunities early and turning them into business plans and goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Healthcare, or a related discipline.
- More than 5 years of experience in downstream marketing, ideally within healthcare, medtech, or a related industry.
- Proven experience managing a broad portfolio of products and solutions rather than a single category or technology.
- Demonstrated ability to own the full marketing cycle for a market, from strategy through execution.
- Strong capability to adapt global strategies for local market impact.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Exposure to image-guided therapy, interventional systems, or healthcare technology is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel 30% to 40% of the time.
Work Model
This is a hybrid role. Full-time employees are expected to spend at least 3 days a week in the office and can work from home for up to 2 days each week, depending on team and task needs.
Why Philips
Working at Philips means contributing to meaningful health technology that can improve care for millions of people. The company offers a purpose-driven environment, opportunities to work across international teams, and a workplace designed to support collaboration, flexibility, well-being, and career growth.
Additional Information
The role description also emphasises that Philips values impactful collaboration, flexible ways of working, and an environment that helps people perform at their best. The organisation frames this position as part of a larger mission to create a healthier society through customer-first innovation.
