Role Overview

The Senior Business Development Manager for the private sector will be central to expanding Ollen's business in Saudi Arabia. This position focuses on finding, nurturing, and winning new opportunities with Saudi companies, family-owned businesses, conglomerates, retailers, FMCG organizations, hospitality operators, industrial firms, developers, investment groups, and fast-growing enterprises.

This is a senior, relationship-driven position suited to someone with strong market access, commercial maturity, and the ability to present Ollen's integrated strategy, design, and execution services to senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and oversee a strong pipeline of qualified private sector opportunities across Saudi Arabia.
  • Use established connections with business owners, CEOs, executives, family offices, retail groups, FMCG businesses, hospitality groups, developers, industrial firms, and investment-backed companies.
  • Identify where Ollen can add value through strategy, growth planning, brand development, customer experience, retail and commercial design, packaging, digital solutions, execution supervision, or business acceleration.
  • Initiate senior-level discussions and position Ollen as a practical partner for organizations pursuing growth, transformation, differentiation, or expansion.
  • Work with Ollen's leadership and delivery teams to create relevant proposals, scopes, credentials, and commercial offers.
  • Manage the full business development process from target selection and outreach through relationship building, opportunity qualification, proposal support, negotiation assistance, and transfer to delivery.
  • Keep pipeline records current, including opportunity stage, revenue forecasts, and relationship notes.
  • Represent Ollen professionally in meetings, market events, introductions, and strategic conversations.
  • Focus on building durable, long-term relationships rather than one-time leads.
  • Help the team understand the Saudi private sector landscape, including key industries, active groups, decision-makers, competitors, and market opportunities.

  • Family businesses and conglomerates.
  • FMCG, consumer goods, beauty, fragrance, food, and retail companies.
  • Hospitality, food and beverage, leisure, and lifestyle operators.
  • Real estate developers and commercial destination owners.
  • Industrial, manufacturing, agribusiness, and food production companies.
  • Investment groups, portfolio companies, and growth-stage businesses.
  • Companies pursuing market entry, repositioning, customer experience improvement, retail rollout, packaging change, or growth strategy.

Experience and Requirements

  • At least 5 to 7 years of experience in business development, client acquisition, partnerships, consulting sales, strategic account development, or commercial leadership.
  • A well-established network within Saudi Arabia's private sector.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop senior relationships with owners, CEOs, board members, general managers, chief strategy officers, marketing leaders, commercial leaders, or transformation leaders.
  • Background in selling or developing complex professional services, consulting, design, marketing, strategy, project management, or transformation-related solutions.
  • Ability to interpret client challenges and convert them into relevant service opportunities.
  • Strong commercial judgment and the ability to separate serious opportunities from casual conversations.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building capabilities.
  • Arabic and English fluency is strongly preferred.
  • Solid understanding of Saudi business culture and how decisions are made.
  • Experience using AI tools across the ecosystem is an added advantage.
  • Bachelor's degree is required; preference will be given to candidates with backgrounds in business, marketing, strategy, finance, design, or related fields.
