Role Summary
This position, based in Sunnyvale, CA, San Francisco, CA, or New York, NY, offers a hybrid work model blending remote work with office presence as required. The Business Development (BD) team drives growth and monetization through strategic partnerships, collaboration across functions, and execution of product strategies.
The Senior Business Development Manager will spearhead growth and optimization of LinkedIn Audience Network (LAN) inventory partnerships by managing relationships with Supply Side Platforms (SSPs), exchanges, and publishers. This role includes leadership over strategy formulation, deal negotiation, execution, and ongoing partnership health.
Key Responsibilities
- Forge and nurture relationships with SSPs, digital exchanges, and publishers to expand LinkedIn's audience network supply.
- Utilize existing partnerships and insights to align partner strategies with overall product roadmaps.
- Own the supply-side partnership programs, serving as the principal liaison and ensuring ecosystem quality meets advertiser objectives.
- Utilize data-driven insights and service level agreements to monitor and improve partner supply quality and performance.
- Collaborate closely with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, Legal, Finance, and other teams to align on product integration and go-to-market approaches.
- Stay informed on global programmatic policies, privacy laws, and market trends to adapt strategies accordingly.
- Negotiate contractual agreements with partners alongside legal and relevant teams to finalize terms.
- Leverage quantitative analysis to support business case development.
- Establish and maintain influential relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Business or related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least seven years in partnership roles such as Business Development or Partner Management within technology companies.
- Demonstrated experience in programmatic advertising, including managing SSP, exchange, and publisher partnerships and technical integrations.
- Strong understanding of digital identity frameworks and addressability preferred.
- Proven track record in driving new business ventures and negotiating complex contracts.
- Analytical experience from consulting, banking, corporate strategy, or business operations roles valued.
- Enthusiasm for LinkedIn’s Marketing Solutions products and entrepreneurial spirit to independently drive results in a dynamic environment.

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this role is $176,000 to $286,000 annually, influenced by individual qualifications, experience, certifications, and work location. Total rewards may also include performance bonuses, stock options, and other incentive plans.
