Job description
Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to play a pivotal role in a major Salesforce transformation initiative known as Project BOB, which aims to replace SAP with a modern Salesforce platform, enhancing the customer self-service experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead workshops and collaborate closely with stakeholders throughout the organisation.
- Gather, analyse, and document detailed business and functional requirements.
- Create user stories, acceptance criteria, and detailed process documentation.
- Map existing and future business processes to support transformation efforts.
- Support solution design ensuring strong alignment with Salesforce's out-of-the-box functionalities.
- Advise stakeholders on adopting standard Salesforce capabilities wherever applicable.
- Work in partnership with Product Owners, Solution Architects, Development, and Testing teams.
- Facilitate Agile delivery processes during the project lifecycle.
Candidate Profile
- Proven extensive experience as a Senior Business Analyst, especially in Salesforce implementation or transformation projects.
- Background in managing complex enterprise technology rollouts.
- Strong skills in business process mapping and effective requirements gathering.
- Excellent at stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation.
- Good understanding of Salesforce's out-of-the-box features and guiding adoption of these standards.
- Experience working in Agile methodologies.
Desirable Qualifications
- Salesforce Business Analyst certification.
- Experience with replacing legacy enterprise platforms such as SAP, CRM, or ERP systems.
- Involvement in customer-focused digital transformation programs.
Additional Information
- Position is a 6-month contract with possibility of extension.
- Role requires one day per week onsite in Hamilton, New Zealand; remainder can be remote.
