Overview
We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join the EMEA Regulatory Finance Technology team of a leading global investment bank based in Dublin. This role focuses on strategic regulatory reporting projects, contributing to the development and delivery of a new regulatory reporting platform. The position involves collaboration with technology and business groups across Europe, the US, and India.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead business analysis efforts on projects related to Capital & Regulatory Reporting, including frameworks such as COREP, FINREP, AnaCredit, and Statistical Reporting.
- Collect, analyze, and document both business and technical requirements, covering aspects such as data acquisition, normalization, and reporting workflows.
- Collaborate with Finance, Treasury, Operations, Middle Office, and Technology teams to facilitate regulatory change implementations.
- Create and update Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and Functional Specifications.
- Assist in solution design, plan implementation phases, and support change management processes.
- Engage with development and QA teams during all stages of the software development lifecycle.
- Review and approve testing scenarios and cases, while overseeing User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Ensure adherence to project governance standards and provide advisory input during development and testing phases.
- Identify, track, and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, maintaining communication with stakeholders globally.
Candidate Profile
- Experience as a Business Analyst within a top-tier investment bank.
- In-depth knowledge of Regulatory Reporting standards such as COREP, FINREP, and AnaCredit or equivalent frameworks.
- Familiarity with financial instruments, including Debt, Equity, and Commodities.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Excel.
- Expertise in drafting BRDs, reviewing technical documents, and supporting Agile project delivery.
- Exposure to ETL or Business Intelligence tools like Alteryx or Informatica desirable.
- Skilled in test planning, creation of test scenarios, and facilitating User Acceptance Testing.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities, capable of coordinating across international teams.

- Work model involves being onsite 3 days per week in Dublin.
- Contract duration runs from ASAP until 26th August 2027.
