Overview
A Dublin-based client is seeking a seasoned Senior Business Analyst to support their team on a daily-rate contract. The role is hybrid, with two days each week spent on site in Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.
What you will do
- Work with a range of stakeholders to capture, refine, and confirm business needs for the development and rollout of important products, tools, and analytics.
- Take ownership of project delivery and contribute directly to successful outcomes.
- Review business processes and identify practical solutions for product improvements, new initiatives, and support of existing offerings.
- Partner with technology teams, business peers, and other functions to keep work moving effectively.
- Help deliver polished, user-focused products and features.
- Coordinate closely with developers and colleagues so requirements and feature expectations are clearly understood.
- Assist and organise testing across the full project lifecycle, including unit, integration, user acceptance, and downstream testing.
- Gather end-user feedback and use it to shape future application and analytics design, while recommending business solutions for stakeholders.
Experience and skills needed
- Proven background in business analysis or a closely related function.
- Prior delivery experience showing successful product and business change outcomes.
- Ability to work independently, learn quickly, and contribute effectively in a team environment.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability, with working knowledge of Agile principles and methods.
- Comfort taking responsibility for stakeholder deliverables.
- Experience in digital product or platform development.
- Track record of working across multi-disciplinary teams, including business partners, subject matter experts, analysts, UX designers, and IT architects.
- Excellent communication and strong interpersonal abilities.
- Stakeholder engagement experience is essential.
- Exposure to customer journey design and customer experience implementation would be advantageous, though not mandatory.
- Ability to deliver projects within agreed scope, budget, and timeline.
