Role overview
A Dublin-based organisation is hiring a ServiceNow Administrator on a permanent basis. The position follows a hybrid working pattern and focuses on keeping the ServiceNow platform reliable, secure, and aligned with operational needs.
What you'll do
- Handle the daily administration and configuration of core ITSM modules such as Incident, Problem, Change, and Request Management.
- Manage user access, role assignments, and group structures with proper governance and security controls.
- Support platform stability by monitoring system performance, resolving issues, and coordinating upgrades and patching activities.
- Develop, improve, and maintain workflows, automation logic, UI policies, and service catalog items.
- Support the upkeep, governance, and accuracy of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
- Prepare and maintain reports, dashboards, and automated data extracts to assist with monitoring and business analysis.
- Work with technical partners to identify improvements and drive ongoing optimisation of the platform.
- Produce clear technical and process documentation.
- Provide end-user support, troubleshooting, and training when needed.
- Monitor system health measures and adoption indicators to improve platform performance and usage.
Experience and skills
The role calls for hands-on ServiceNow administration experience, a strong understanding of ITSM practices, and practical exposure to ServiceNow Studio, Flow Designer, basic scripting, reporting, dashboards, Performance Analytics, and CMDB/asset lifecycle processes. The successful candidate should be analytical, communicate well with stakeholders, and be comfortable working both independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
Mandatory requirement
A current ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification is required.
