Job description
Overview
Our client based in Dublin is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join their team on a contract basis with a hybrid work arrangement, requiring three days on-site weekly.
Key Responsibilities
- Elicit, clarify and confirm business requirements from diverse stakeholders to develop and implement core products, tools, and analytical solutions.
- Take a lead role in ensuring successful delivery of projects.
- Examine existing workflows to recommend product improvements, new initiatives, and maintain ongoing support for current tools.
- Coordinate closely with technology teams, business units, and various departments.
- Prioritize delivering user-focused, high-quality products and features.
- Work intimately with software development teams to guarantee clear understanding of requirements and features.
- Manage and support testing phases, including unit, integration, user acceptance, and downstream testing activities.
- Gather and monitor end-user feedback to inform future application and analytics designs, advising on business solution enhancements.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in business analysis or comparable roles with a record of successfully driving product and business transformations.
- Strong autonomy and teamwork skills with a proactive mindset.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities with familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Accountability for stakeholder obligations.
- Background in digital product or platform development.
- Experience collaborating within multi-disciplinary teams involving business partners, subject matter experts, analysts, UX designers, and IT architects.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a history of stakeholder management.
- Experience in customer journey design or customer experience projects is advantageous but not required.
- Ability to deliver projects on scope, budget, and schedule consistently.
Additional Information
The role is based in Dublin on a hybrid basis, requiring three working days onsite per week. The client prefers candidates with background in the insurance sector or regulated industries such as financial services, banking, or investments, especially with experience involving claims projects.
