Senior Business Analyst - Funding Management System

About the Role

Our client, a leading financial institution with extensive operations across North America in sectors like institutional & corporate, wealth management, private clients, commercial banking, treasury, and retail banking, is seeking a Senior Business Analyst for a contract role based in Toronto, ON. This position supports the Funding Management System and the Agency Regions and Sector Capacity and Performance (SCP) portfolios, including enhancements and future projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and define ongoing business requirements for the Funding Management System supporting Agency Regions and SCP portfolios.
• Serve as the principal liaison representing Agency Regions and SCP subject matter experts throughout the Funding Management System lifecycle, collaborating closely with the vendor.
• Gather and document business analysis and requirements efficiently.
• Assist in refining user stories during agile sprints.
• Support user acceptance testing to ensure solution quality.
• Participate actively in sprint reviews and manage backlog prioritization.
• Ensure vendor delivers business requirements aligned to the Agency's high standards.
• Contribute to the development of the Agency Enterprise CRM roadmap in partnership with business stakeholders.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
• At least 3 years' experience in the Public Sector developing complete Salesforce CRM solutions.
• Minimum 5 years' hands-on experience with Salesforce PSS Grantmaking or closely related Salesforce cloud modules such as Nonprofit Cloud, Public Sector Solutions, Health Cloud, or Sales Cloud.
• Solid 5+ years working with Agile Scrum methodologies.
• Extensive experience (5+ years) using Microsoft Azure DevOps for user story creation and business requirements documentation.
• Three or more years integrating Salesforce with third-party systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, O365, Co-Pilot, SharePoint, and Teams.
• Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, stakeholder engagement, and relationship building skills.
• Demonstrated capability in delivering exceptional customer service, tact, and diplomacy to address client needs effectively.
• Self-motivated, adaptable team player with creativity, perseverance, multitasking skills, and a history of meeting tight deadlines.

Additional Information

• Contract length: 12 months
• Start date: Immediate availability preferred
• Work schedule: Monday to Friday during core business hours
• Location: Onsite in Toronto, Ontario
• Rate: Starting at 72 CAD per hour
