Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) is the corporate and investment banking division of Crédit Agricole Group, ranked as the world's 10th largest bank by total assets. The Singapore center is the second largest IT hub after Paris, collaborating daily with branches in 30 countries. The team focuses on anticipating and developing future information systems, supporting key banking platforms and transversal projects, and delivering premium in-house applications to maintain competitive market advantages.

Department Overview

The Capital Market IT (CMI) department develops Capital Markets technology solutions including front office booking platforms, risk management and regulatory reporting, and valuation systems. The SALES IT division supports the entire value chain by integrating new products and optimizing front-to-back processes.

Position Summary

The Senior Business Analyst role focuses on the SALES application, responsible for both project and maintenance tasks, supporting daily banking operations. The analyst deeply understands business workflows, timing, and data flow through internal and external systems, collaborating closely with business users, infrastructure, and system teams. The role centers on PRICE, a pre-trade application used by Sales for booking Rates deals. Responsibilities include enhancing RFQ workflows, real-time pricing features, deal validation, and integration with downstream systems, in partnership with Sales and Trading stakeholders to optimize the entire deal process.

Main Duties

  • Lead and facilitate business workshops to gather and analyze requirements.
  • Work with Product Owner to prioritize and translate needs into detailed user stories.
  • Prepare detailed functional specifications with clear acceptance criteria.
  • Ensure linkage between business needs and technical delivery.
  • Analyze and optimize business processes; identify gaps and transformation opportunities.
  • Manage change initiatives to align process improvements with business goals.
  • Identify authoritative data sources; specify mappings and transformations; document data lineage and uphold data quality.
  • Support data migrations and reconciliation efforts.
  • Map PRICE application workflows and dependencies; assess project impacts on related systems.
  • Coordinate with technical teams to ensure smooth integration; maintain interface documentation.
  • Maintain close communication with developers and stakeholders; provide level 3 functional support.
  • Define and oversee testing strategies including behavior-driven development, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
  • Participate in production launches; prepare deployment prerequisites; conduct user training and provide post-production support.
  • Build and maintain functional knowledge base; train new team members; promote reuse through research of existing solutions.

Key Qualifications and Profile

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Programming & Systems Analysis, or related fields.
  • At least 8 years’ experience as a Business Analyst in market finance, specializing in Front Office Fixed Income Rates products.
  • In-depth knowledge of Interest Rate Derivatives such as Interest Rate Swaps, Swaptions, Caps/Floors, FRAs.
  • Experience with pre-trade workflows and RFQ systems; understanding pricing models, yield curves, and risk metrics like DV01, duration, convexity.
  • Familiarity with market and day count conventions; equity product knowledge is advantageous.
  • Experience with Front Office and risk management platforms including Orchestrade and MarkitWire.
  • Understanding of trading cycle from pre-trade to settlement; use of data sources like Bloomberg and Refinitiv.
  • Expertise in financial data formats such as FPML; knowledge of static market data sources and usage.
  • Technical skills in Python, SQL, Excel; familiarity with DevOps tools such as GitOps, Docker, Kubernetes; experience with monitoring tools like Elasticsearch and Kibana.
  • Strong communication skills in English; proven ability to collaborate in multicultural teams; excellent stakeholder management and facilitation skills.
  • Experience with issue tracking tools like Jira.
  • Proven ability to leverage AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to enhance productivity; understanding of AI/ML fundamentals and evaluation of AI-generated results for accuracy and security; ability to identify AI integration opportunities.

Additional Information

  • Working hours are 8:45 AM to 6:30 PM Singapore Time.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation with the team covering nights and weekends as needed.
  • This position is a 12-month contract role, renewable based on performance.
