Senior Business Analyst

Overview

We are currently looking for a senior software engineer to join our technical team to ensure quality and reliability for our cloud-based multi-tenant SaaS platform. This role offers the rewarding chance to be involved in the entire lifecycle of our solutions, allowing ownership over what you build.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver projects maintaining a high standard of quality throughout.
• Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Engage in risk assessment activities and implement mitigation strategies.
• Analyze and resolve application-related issues effectively.
• Suggest and evaluate new technologies that could enhance team productivity.
• Provide thorough design reviews and offer technical advice.
• Participate regularly in meetings to discuss project progress, challenges, and ideas.
• Collaborate with quality assurance teams to develop comprehensive test strategies including test cases and plans.
• Plan, prioritize, and execute project assignments alongside cross-functional teams.
• Assist in the maintenance and upgrading of existing software solutions.
• Take part in technical audits and ensure that any suggested improvements are implemented.
• Develop technical solutions that align closely with business requirements and demands.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Proven commercial experience in web application development using Java, Spring framework, and Hibernate/JPA.
• Experience in building front-end applications with modern technology stacks.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and cloud deployment strategies, including infrastructure-as-code methodologies.
• Experience with API design, including publishing, versioning, and lifecycle management.
• Understanding of database designs encompassing both structured and unstructured data.
• A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Additional knowledge of insurance, e-commerce, or payment technologies is advantageous but not mandatory.
